Back to homeStep 3: they contact you

Receive the request: and bring the customer back.

Your visitor is convinced. What remains is to make contact easy, to reply quickly, and then to keep in touch after the first job.

Contact in two steps.

On a phone, a button should start the call directly. In a form, only ask for what you really need to reply: the longer it is, the more likely the visitor is to give up. If your business works by appointment, online booking lets the customer choose a slot even when you are not available to answer.

Reply quickly.

A customer who is comparing has often contacted several businesses. Decide who replies and within what time, and state that time on your site. If you cannot answer while you work, a clear voicemail message and a call back during the day avoid losing the request.

Know what works.

A click is not a customer. The most telling thing is to track calls, submitted forms and bookings, then see where they come from. You can then keep what brings contacts and stop what does not. That is the aim of our monthly report.

Bring them back.

A former customer already knows you. With their consent, an email as a maintenance reminder, a new product or a seasonal offer may be enough to bring them back. Your social media also keeps the link alive, as long as you show something concrete: a finished job, a new product, a date to remember.

  • A short form
  • A stated reply time that you keep
  • Tracking of the requests received
